How Can I Request a Change on my Child’s IEP?

There are several potential reasons as to why you may want to make a change on your child’s individualized education program (IEP), such as, your child having a new illness, medical condition, or health needs. Perhaps you perceive that your child is not making appropriate progress on his or her goals. Regardless, you may write an email, or call your child’s teacher requesting an IEP meeting at any time, even if it is not yet time for your child’s annual review.
