In partnership with Ohio Deaf and Blind Education Services, Statewide Services and Outreach, we are offering Visual Phonics training to Ohio educators free of cost. If you are looking for ways to make phonemic awareness instruction accessible to your learners, this training is for you. Join Abby White, a certified Teacher of the Deaf and Visual Phonics trainer, to learn the Visual Phonics system and how to apply it across instructional settings. To participate, you must attend the entire session on both scheduled days.

Michelle Motil is excited to share Your Child's Journey: Ohio's Guide for Deaf or Hard of Hearing Support, a brand-new resource created to help families feel informed, supported, and confident. Join us on January 27 at 6:30 PM for a family-friendly session where we'll explore: • Easy-to-understand information about communication and language access. • A roadmap of Ohio's health, education, and community supports. • Tips for preparing for appointments and staying organized. • Ways to connect with other families walking a similar path. Whether your child is newly identified or you've been on this journey for a while, this guide is here to walk with you — and I can't wait to show it to you!
