The Eye Report: An Introduction

Learn more about the eye report, a vital assessment that provides information about a person's vision that can be used to provide needed supports at home, at school, and in the community.

  • Locate the student/patient findings on an eye report and work with the professionals available to serve your learner (TVI)

Presenters:

  • Gregory R. Hopkins, OD MS FAAO. Gregory received his Doctor of Optometry degree from the Ohio State University College of Optometry in 2010. He practiced as a senior research associate and independent optometrist for two years before completing an advanced practice fellowship in low vision rehabilitation and masters in vision science in 2014 at OSUCO. Since that time, he has served most of the week as a clinical associate professor within the OSU Primary Vision Care and Low Vision Rehabilitation Services at OSUCO.
  • Staci Wills, M.Ed., TVI and COMS. Staci is a Teacher of Students with Visual Impairments and a Certified Orientation & Mobility Specialist, having completed the Ohio teacher licensure programs for both of these specialties at The Ohio State University.  She has served students throughout Mahoning County in these roles since 2012, and earned her Ohio K-8 certification in 2000.  She earned both her B.S.Ed. (elementary education) and M.S.Ed. (curriculum and assessment) from Youngstown State University. Staci is a member of The Association for Education and Rehabilitation of the Blind and Visually Impaired (AERBVI), and sits on the board of AERBVI's Ohio chapter, where she is currently the President-Elect.

Various organizations have approved modules and webinars in the Learning Hub for continuing education credit.
