Supporting Learners Series: The Whole Child: Being Challenged
Taking a whole child approach helps us focus beyond solely academics to include thinking about a student’s social-emotional, physical and safety needs. Designed with the whole child in mind, this module will focus on the tenant of being challenged and what that could mean for students with visual impairment.
Participants will:
- Recognize how being challenged supports student learning using a whole child approach.
- Describe strategies to challenge students within the classroom setting.
- Identify resources that can be used to challenge students with visual impairments.
