BEST Professional Development
The Braille Excellence for Students and Teachers (BEST) Grant is a statewide project of professional development and technical assistance dedicated to braille literacy, braille instruction, braille materials, and braille technology in Ohio schools.
Registration is free, however, attendees must register in advance. The following events have a limited number of participants. Registration is on a first-come, first-serve basis. No 'walk in' entry is available.

November 1, 2017. Learn MathType with the BANA template and Microsoft Word to prepare math documents for your students who use braille.
Transition Introduction to UEB
Dec. 1, 2017 - With hands-on activities, learn the differences between the current braille code and UEB.

January 19, 2018 - The BEST Grant in collaboration with the AT & AEM Center and VFO invite parents, students, educators, and support staff serving students with visual impairments to attend.
